How to compress MOV files:
-
Settings
Set the MOV video quality first. The MOV video quality value can range from 1 (lowest video quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). Alternatively, you can select the "Change specific video parameters" option to set video size, bitrate, frame rate, aspect, etc. All audio tracks in video file can be removed, this will significantly reduce file size.
-
Add Files
Drag multiple MOV files into the "Choose Files" section. File extension name can be .mov or .qt. Each MOV file can be up to 200 MB in size.
-
Compress Files
Batch compression will automatically start once the files are uploaded. Please be patient while the files are being uploaded or compressed.
-
Output Files
The output files will be listed in the "Output Files" section. To compress all output files into a ZIP file, click the "" icon on the right, then click "Add to ZIP". You can right-click on the file name and click "Save link as..." to save the file. Note that output files will be automatically deleted from our server in two hours, so please download them to your computer or save them to online storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox as soon as possible.
About:
QuickTime File Format (QTFF) is a computer file format used natively by the QuickTime framework. The format specifies a multimedia container file that contains one or more tracks, each of which stores a particular type of data: audio, video, or text (e.g. for subtitles). Each track either contains a digitally-encoded media stream (using a specific format) or a data reference to the media stream located in another file.
The exclusive "Overall Video Quality" option on our website is inspired by the "JPEG Quality" option in image compression. It's more intuitive than setting all kinds of video parameters such as video size, bitrate, frame rate, or aspect.
